The
SDA Church School System is organized to give parents an affordable
"values centered" education option for their children.
Tuition provides a only a portion of the schools funding.
Other major sources of funding are subsidies from the constituent
churches and funding from the parent SDA organization.
The
Stanley SDA School has three long standing fund raising programs
to further reduce the tuition fees. These fund raising programs
give parents, church members, and school supporters a way
to support a cause important to them. The fund raising programs
also provide a service to the community. |

The Stanley SDA Church first made apple butter in the early
1950s to make a contribution to the Page Memorial Hospital.
For more than 40 years the proceeds have gone to support the
Church School. |

Once each year before the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
fresh high-quality dried fruit, nuts, and candy are available
from the school. |

| |
Four or five months during the school year, beginning in November,
citrus fruit is sold by the school. Orders are taken in advance,
the fruit is trucked in from Florida, and distributed fresh
to customers. |
